Come join us in the women’s sacred circle where every voice is heard and supported.  We will dream the great dream that we learn to live in harmony with nature and achieve gender equality so that every woman and girl lives in a healthy and sustainable environment.  Indigenous Grandmothers will call the circle co-creating with us a sacred place to voice our dreams.  Women and girls are encouraged to bring a symbol of their dream for the sacred center. We will conclude with a blessing of our dreams as we move forth with the support of one another. From Objectification to Dignity: Positive MediaRepresentations of Women and Girls
Sexualized images of women in media, and glamorization of the sex industry has roots infueling demand for the buying of sex. This event aims at addressing this culture of commodification, and reframing media as a tool to support dignity and human rights at all levels of society.
