Many of the NGO delegates will be arriving in New York today, to start the meetings of the CSW. The reason for arriving today is because the NGO Forum is tomorrow, and although expensive, it does give everyone a chance to meet and to hear from UN officials and New York personalities their views on what to expect during the upcoming meetings.
The National Council of Women of Canada will have 7 delegates, from across Canada, and we will all be attending the NGO Forum. Also, good news, the registration at the UN does take place in the evening, until 8:00 pm both Saturday and Sunday, so we all hope to be officially registered by Monday morning, when the real business of the CSW begins.
